On October 12th, 2018, Frank Poblocki, a police sergeant in Seattle was demoted back to officer after an internal investigation into allegations of stalking a man at his place of his work for nearly an hour with the intentions of demanding an apology because he “felt disrespected” regarding an earlier interaction resulting from the man’s vehicle being towed.

When questioned by citizens and other officers why he was waiting outside an AutoZone in his office chair while on duty, in uniform and armed, he responded that he felt he DESERVED an apology after being disrespected. Officer Poblocki lied to investigators about going to the store to seek an apology even though he clearly stated on video his intentions. He has been demoted with a ten day suspension and is currently appealing this decision.
